I’m Sylvia D’silva, currently pursuing MSc in Economics at Calcutta University. I love 3 things the most- Plants, because it’s only natural to; Writing, because it gives us more time to think, and Economics, because it answers almost everything I have wanted to know. I want to pursue a PhD someday, to study the How’s & Why’s of poverty and answer my childhood self. Besides the cliched exaggeration, I truly want to study Development Economics, learn more about Marxian Economics, dip myself in Econometrics. I aspire to study data, and have an answer, not an opinion. Besides my academic background, I feel my writing journey has been interesting enough, I have worked for several organisations over 3 years. Yet, my favourite activity is reading – admiring another writer’s work is a form of art in itself!
