Sourav Chakraborty

Sourav Chakraborty is currently pursuing MA in Political Science from University of Calcutta. He completed his undergraduate course from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira. He is interested in international relations, conflict studies, social transformation and development studies, globalization, postmodern theories, postcolonial theories and politics of environment. He has presented papers in different seminars organized by Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur, Vijoy Krishna Girls’ College, Howrah, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira and University of Calcutta. His paper titled ‘Secularism in My Eyes’ ranked first among the students in the seminar organized by Vijoy Krishna Girls’ College. He stood fourth in the ‘State Level Essay Competition 2017-18’ organized by the Department of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of West Bengal. One of his article is accepted to be published by the Department of Political Science, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira.
