JAYA SINGHANIA

Jaya arned her master’s degree from the University of Calcutta’s Department of South and Southeast Asian Studies. She graduated in history at Loreto College. During her academic career, she developed a strong interest in research through participation in seminars, talks, and conferences. She has taken part in various research publications and power point presentations. Jaya’s research interests include the role of soft power in South and Southeast Asia, Pan Asianism, and South China Sea politics. She researched and presented presentations titled “Exploring the Genesis of Intersectional Feminism transcending times and borders” at an International Conference co-hosted by the University of Texas, the University of Calcutta, and The Presidency University. She has also been a part of many societies during her college days. Jaya’s interests lies in yoga, listening to music and dancing.
