Debdoot Roy
Debdoot Basu Ray completed his bachelor’s degree in English, Political Science, and History from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Bangalore and is currently pursuing his master’s in international relations. He spends most of his time reading, researching, and analyzing various political and social events taking place across the world. With a keen interest in peace and conflict in the regions of West Asia and Latin America, he has worked with various think tanks and Universities as a research assistant, associate, and analyst. He has worked with CSIRD, the Usanas Foundation, Global Counter-Terrorism Council, IISDG and Public Policy Research, CHRIST University, and UC Berkely. He has also been involved in state government projects in Karnataka. Someone who believes in the mixture of social psychology and international political trends, Debdoot did his most recent writing on Erdogan’s Turkey and its claims as a potential Islamic hegemony in the Muslim world. His other academic areas of interest include the Roman Empire, literary feminism, and non-conformist visualizations of historic narratives.
Anindita Dey
Anindita Dey is a postgraduate student at the University of Calcutta's Department of Economics. Her interests include gender inequality, women's empowerment, and female labour force participation. She enjoys a variety of ironic and subversive interests, including reading and writing.
