Amrita Chowdhury
Amrita Chowdhury is a second year undergraduate student of Presidency University. She has done her 10th and 12th from Bidya Bharati Girls’ High School. She is from a science background and her skills are critically analyzing things which need a much more logical approach be it Mathematics or Social sciences which will eventually provide an significant impact on everybody. She has an inclination towards solving math problem, Puzzles, reading newspaper. Apart from this her hobbies are swimming and dancing. Beside this she is a avid quizzer. She was awarded for the Quiz competition in 2017 organized by Department of Parliamentary Affairs, under West Bengal Government. Apart from this she has participated in various inter college quiz and debate competition.
Anisha Patiri
Anisha is a post-graduate student of politics in SNDT Women’s University. She wishes to pursue further studies in migration, international relations, human rights and politics. She aspires to be a researcher and loves to travel and read. She has participated in various college events and seminars and has interest in learning new languages.
Sayantan Haldar
Sayantan Haldar is currently pursuing his MA in Political Science at Presidency University, Kolkata. He is interested in South Asian International Relations, especially Sino-Indo relations, tracing the trade, connectivity and security discourse. He has previously been attached with Centre for Studies in International Relations and Development (CSIRD), Kolkata as a Research Intern where he was looking at India’s strategic response to China’s emergent Belt and Road Initiative. His op-ed articles on China Pakistan Economic Corridor and Five Nations Railway Corridor have been published by Mantraya. His paper on India’s response to the Belt and Road Initiative has been published by Indian Journal of Asian Affairs. He has presented at different seminars and conferences organized by West Bengal State University, Rabindra Bharati University and Calcutta University.
Samanneeta Chakraborty
Samanneeta Chakraborty, is currently pursuing Post-Graduation in History from Presidency University. She completed graduation in B.A History from Loreto College, affiliated to Calcutta University after completion of schooling from the Cambridge International School. Her areas of interest include History, Sociology, Military History and Gender Studies. She was awarded for the National Essay Competition in 2013 (a collaboration of the Ram Chandra Mission with the United Nations Information Center for India and Bhutan). She has also presented a paper on ‘The role of Bolsheviks in the Russian Revolution, 2017 at Inter College Multi-Disciplinary Paper Presentation. She has worked as a Human Resource Executive at Anthroplace Consultancy as an intern after graduation. Her hobbies include dancing, cooking and traveling. She is a voracious reader. She has also been awarded with a diploma in Bharatnatyam and Rabindra Nritya from Navaras Performing Arts, affiliated to BangyaSangeetParishad, as well as conferred with the title of Miss Fit held by Doordarshan Kendra. She has also being a judge for TTIS Durga Puja Festival, in collaboration with T2. Aspiring to be an Indian Administrative Service Officer, she aims to work for unprivileged children, gender equality and against trafficking.
