Avnish Kumar

Avnish Kumar Singh is a third law student pursing his education at WBNUJS, Kolkata. He has a diverse range of academic interests which include Sanskrit, History, Politics, Religion, Foreign Affairs, Capitalism, and above all the Constitution of India. He has also been pursuing his areas of interests through online courses and has been recently selected to attend CopyrightX, which is an online course on Copyright laws offered by Harvard University. Previously, he has also attended the course on Civil Liberties offered by Princeton University and was awarded the Statement of Accomplishment for his exceptional performance. Among the extra-curricular activities, he has very actively participated in quiz competitions, moot court competitions & ADR tournaments and has also brought laurels for his college. After completing his legal education, he aims to serve as a civil servant in underdeveloped regions of the country. He believes that the ability to read and interpret law can be used to effectively implement government schemes for the elevation of living standards of the underprivileged sections of the society.

Mohit Dang

Mohit is a third-year student at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (NLU-Patiala) pursuing B.A. LL.B. (Hons.). His academic interests span across subjects such as International Law, International Relations, Policy and Governance and has researched extensively on inter alia International Environmental Law and International Humanitarian Law. He has pursued various extra-curriculars such as debating and mooting. Public-speaking, reading, philosophy, Lawn-Tennis and music are his alternate interests.

Aanchal Kabra

Aanchal Kabra is a First year student at the West Bengal University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) pursuing a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree. She aspires to become an International Human Rights lawyer and help end injustice across the globe. Specifically, she wishes to work to reduce gender violence and fight for parity between the sexes. As a lawyer, she hopes to give voice to those whose voices are ignored and fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. In pursuit of this objective, she has interned at various organizations including The Foundation and Community Code. She has also written on various current issues, spanning from homosexuality to men’s rights for news forums and is an active member of the Legal Aid Society of NUJS. Interested in Mooting, she is competing in the Leiden Sarin Moot in 2019. Further, Aanchal is passionate about learning and is an avid lover of Ted Talks. She also enjoys reading, theatre, and poetry and has completed Grade 5 of Trinity Speech and Drama.

Abhilash Pattnaik

Abhilash Pattnaik is a Third Year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) student at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. He is interested in Sociology and ConstitutIonal Law. As a research enthusiast he has presented papers on International Humanitarian Law and International Environmental Law in International and National Conferences. He has various publications to him name, such as GNLU Law Review, Amity Law School Journal, et al. Hie work experiences include working with leading NGOs like Oxfam, ActionAid and Greenpeace. As a serious reader, he prefers non-fiction over fiction. He firmly believes effective education can usher monumental changes in the world. He is a national level tennis player and an avid lover of dogs.
