Sayani Das

Sayani Das is pursuing her Bachelor's degree with honors in Political Science from Amity University, Kolkata. She has written research projects under the mentorship of her professors on the Jewish population of Kolkata and their occupation and various relevant topics. She has been an intern with the Centre for Studies in International Relations and Development as a part of which she wrote a research paper on the ‘Chinese Influence on the Global Economy’. She has also written a paper on the dangers faced by healthcare workers during the recent pandemic. She wishes to pursue a career as a political researcher or in international politics and her areas of interest include international relations, politics of US, Middle Eastern conflicts and China. She writes short stories and poems.

Sristhi Ghosh

Sristhi Ghosh is a Post Graduate student of Political Science from Calcutta University. She completed her Bachelor's degree from Loreto College, Kolkata. Her interest lies in Politics and Society, Gender Studies, Subaltern Literature and South Asian Area Studies. She has been awarded The Student of the Year by Times of India for excellence in academic and co-curricular activities. As a student of social studies, she takes direct interest in issues of gender and child welfare. Her volunteering experiences at 'Hamari Muskan'- NGO for protection and welfare of sex workers and children around the red light area of Premchand Boral Street and 'Missing'- engaged in generating awareness about human trafficking has greatly boosted her interest in this field. She also actively took part in events like 'Symposium on United Nations' by West Bengal Federation of United Nations Association and 'Green Revolution Program' under United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Suchandra Pal

Suchandra Pal completed her postgraduate studies in Political Science at Presidency University, Kolkata. She is keen to continue her academic venture in the field of Gender studies. Writing has been the best medium of self expression and communication for her, and she is deeply interested to explore and write about issues related to Gender, Feminism specifically with regard to Postcolonial feminism and wishes to conduct studies on lives of women and other marginalized communities specifically in the context of South Asia. Apart from her academic endeavors, she is a trained classical Bharatnatyam dancer. She has been a volunteer in National Service Scheme under the Government of India and she has represented in the National Integration Programme as West Bengal contingent organised by National Service Scheme, Ministry of Youth and Affairs, Government of India.

Tunir Ghosal

Tunir Ghosal is a final year post graduate student from the Department of Political Science, University of Calcutta. He completed his graduation from Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Bhubaneswar and served as school teacher for a brief period of time. He is currently working in a project to assess socio economic impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic in North Bengal region. His areas of interest are Community development, Urban studies, Globalization, Rural-urban dichotomy etc.
