Dwaipayan Sinha
Dwaipayan Sinha is currently pursuing his master's degree in Political Science with International Relations from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has previously worked as a research intern for Alexis Foundation, NIICE Nepal, Asian Institute of International Affairs and Diplomacy and Krityananda UNESCO. His op-eds and commentaries have been published on various websites. He has contributed to DSA magazine and Eastern Review magazine. His interests are International Relations, Global Affairs and South Asian Politics. He has also worked for several NGOs. He enjoys travelling in his free time.
Britya Gayen
Britya Gayen is a second-year Masters student in political science at the University of Calcutta. Aiming for a life and career in academia, she is deeply passionate about the subject, particularly the field of Postcolonial studies, Popular politics, Rural Development and Refugee studies. She has presented various papers in International seminars and has a few publications to her name. These include “A Study on Development of India in the Co-Existence of Populism and Liberalisation of the Period, 1990 – 2020” in the International Conference organized by Shodh Sankalp Education and Research (SSER) on 1-2 August, 2021 and published in the “Shodh Sankalp Journal” (ISSN 2582-9033), Volume- 1, Issue- 3, Page No.: 35-46, September-2021.2; “Relevance of Post-colonial Democracy in the Present Context of India –An Analytical Study” in the International Web Conference organized by Bengal Institute of Political Studies (BIPS) on 11th September,2021;“Popular Politics – A Key to Women Empowerment in India” in the one-day International Webinar organized by Kanchrapara College on 4th October,2021. She has published a research paper entitled “A Study on Populism and Development in a Decade (2011 – 2020) of West Bengal” in “Quest Journal of Research in Humanities and Social Science”, ISSN: 2321-9467, Volume- 9, Issue- 5, Series- 5, Page No. 89-97, May-2021.
Britee Adhikary
Britee Adhikary is a second-year undergraduate student, pursuing a major in Political Science from Presidency University, Kolkata. She is passionate about working in the field of Human Rights and Gender Studies. She is particularly interested in studying the rights of gender and ethnic minorities in the international domain and the emerging discourses on Feminist Perspectives of International Relations. In addition, she is interested in exploring the conflictual relationship between frontiers and identities in the South Asian context. She has completed an online course on Feminism and Social Justice from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has also co-presented a paper on “Erosion of Due Process in the Indian Legislature and its Effects on Policy Implementation” at the N.N.Agarwal paper presentation organized by the Political Science Department of Hindu College. She is currently working as a volunteer at a non-profit organization named “Her Adhikaar.”
Ayanika Das
Ayanika Das has completed her graduation in Political Science from Loreto College, University of Calcutta. Her aspiration is to be a policymaker and help bridge the gap in policy implementation and practice. She wishes to focus on South Asia, with a closer introspection on India as the driving force behind its geopolitics, bilateral relations and security ties. She has several paper presentations and seminars to her credit in college and was part of the student council in her final year. Moreover, she has been an active member of the Literature society, Political Science society, Media society and helped form Loreto college's first Quiz Club. In her free time, she loves reading, quizzing, travelling, writing and watching movies.
