Uttoran Bhattacharyya
Uttoran Bhattacharyya is currently pursuing his MA in Political Science from University of Calcutta, Kolkata. His key areas of interest are Applied-Marxism (In the Asian region), history of the communist movement in Asia and Latin America, political theory, foreign policy studies and International Political Economy and Theatre. He has presented papers on the topic of “Debates within the Communist Parties of India”, “EU and Brexit” in different seminars and has attended different lecture series arranged by organisations like “Hasim Abdul Halim Foundation”. He has also published an article in a little magazine called “Bandar” about different theatre groups based in Kolkata with co-author Sujay Krishna Chakraborty. His aim is to study the impact of the process of Globalization on Asia from a Marxian standpoint.
Sourav Chakraborty
Sourav Chakraborty is currently pursuing MA in Political Science from University of Calcutta. He completed his undergraduate course from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira. He is interested in international relations, conflict studies, social transformation and development studies, globalization, postmodern theories, postcolonial theories and politics of environment. He has presented papers in different seminars organized by Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur, Vijoy Krishna Girls' College, Howrah, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira and University of Calcutta. His paper titled ‘Secularism in My Eyes' ranked first among the students in the seminar organized by Vijoy Krishna Girls' College. He stood fourth in the ‘State Level Essay Competition 2017-18’ organized by the Department of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of West Bengal. One of his article is accepted to be published by the Department of Political Science, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira.
Amrita Chowdhury
Amrita Chowdhury is a second year undergraduate student of Presidency University. She has done her 10th and 12th from Bidya Bharati Girls’ High School. She is from a science background and her skills are critically analyzing things which need a much more logical approach be it Mathematics or Social sciences which will eventually provide an significant impact on everybody. She has an inclination towards solving math problem, Puzzles, reading newspaper. Apart from this her hobbies are swimming and dancing. Beside this she is a avid quizzer. She was awarded for the Quiz competition in 2017 organized by Department of Parliamentary Affairs, under West Bengal Government. Apart from this she has participated in various inter college quiz and debate competition.
Anisha Patiri
Anisha is a post-graduate student of politics in SNDT Women’s University. She wishes to pursue further studies in migration, international relations, human rights and politics. She aspires to be a researcher and loves to travel and read. She has participated in various college events and seminars and has interest in learning new languages.
