Sanjana Banerjee

Sanjana Banerjee has recently graduated from Jadavpur University where she was pursuing B.A. Hons in English. This field of study allowed her scope to go beyond Literature in the strictest sense. She is interested in Subaltern studies and Postcolonial studies and is keen to develop better understanding of Indian Politics within the South-Asian context. She has written on religion and identity politics surrounding the life and activism of Malala Yousafzai and would like to continue with a career in the field of Human Rights. She is interested and trained in Indian Classical Music.

Mansi Goyal

Mansi Goyal is a third year undergraduate student of FLAME University, Pune. She is pursuing a major in Psychology and minor in Literary and Culture Studies. Her ardent interest lies in reading and writing about matters pertaining to the community. She envisions working with the underprivileged and helping them obtain equal access to mental health. She is also avid about research and has been previously involved in research projects ranging from an intersectional study of gender and class on women domestic workers to exploring the Armenian diaspora in Kolkata. Mansi believes that the personal is political, and aspires to imbibe ideologies that challenge the oppressive systems and practices such as patriarchy, caste and class system, capitalism, cissexism, etc.

Rashi Yadav

Rashi is a Second-year student at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (NLU-Patiala) pursuing B.A. LL.B. (Hons.). Her academic interests include Sociology and International Law. She is passionate about promoting women's rights and works with organizations like the Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID) and Breakthrough India in pursuance of the same. She has also researched extensively in Animal Protection Laws and worked with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Her alternate interests are reading and music.

Sarnali Bhattacharjee

Sarnali Bhattacharjee is currently pursuing her MA in Political Science from University of Calcutta. Her key areas of interest are Gender studies and Gender activism in the Asian Continent. She is also interested in exploring the manifestation of the idea of ‘Gender’ in Indian Political Thought, Ideas and movement. She has attended several lecture series and has participated and presented in different seminars. She recently presented a paper on "Caste Violence: Legitimisation of Violence by the upper strata" in a seminar organised by department of Political Science University of Calcutta.
