Amit Bhadra
Amit Bhadra is currently pursuing his MA in Political Science from West Bengal State University. He completed his undergraduate course in Political Science from Barasat Government College. He has done his 10th and 12th from Barasat Satyabharati Vidyapith. His major field of academic interest are International Relations, Western Political Thought and Modern Indian Political Thought. He is also passionate to study about Indian Foreign policies, India’s relation with neighbouring States, Security issues, Gender issues and about Indian social and political thinkers. He has participated in various events like essay-writing competitions, Debate competitions and seminars in his school and college. Apart from this, he has attended several lecture series of different seminars and webinars. He also has a keen interest in drawing and painting
Aakanksha Jadhav
Aakanksha Jadhav is a first year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) student at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata. She is passionate about understanding societal issues, especially those pertaining to class and gender, and aims to harness the power of the legal system to work towards a more inclusive society. She is an active member of the NUJS Gender and Sexuality forum and has contributed to its blog “The Diversity Project.” She also writes about a plethora of things that intrigue her, including regional cinema, beauty standards and mental health on her personal blog. Other than relishing in quintessential law school activities like debating, she enjoys writing poetry. Her love for being on the stage manifests in various forms, whether it be performing slam poetry, or playing the lead in a University Theatre production
Avnish Kumar
Avnish Kumar Singh is a third law student pursing his education at WBNUJS, Kolkata. He has a diverse range of academic interests which include Sanskrit, History, Politics, Religion, Foreign Affairs, Capitalism, and above all the Constitution of India. He has also been pursuing his areas of interests through online courses and has been recently selected to attend CopyrightX, which is an online course on Copyright laws offered by Harvard University. Previously, he has also attended the course on Civil Liberties offered by Princeton University and was awarded the Statement of Accomplishment for his exceptional performance. Among the extra-curricular activities, he has very actively participated in quiz competitions, moot court competitions & ADR tournaments and has also brought laurels for his college. After completing his legal education, he aims to serve as a civil servant in underdeveloped regions of the country. He believes that the ability to read and interpret law can be used to effectively implement government schemes for the elevation of living standards of the underprivileged sections of the society.
Mohit Dang
Mohit is a third-year student at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (NLU-Patiala) pursuing B.A. LL.B. (Hons.). His academic interests span across subjects such as International Law, International Relations, Policy and Governance and has researched extensively on inter alia International Environmental Law and International Humanitarian Law. He has pursued various extra-curriculars such as debating and mooting. Public-speaking, reading, philosophy, Lawn-Tennis and music are his alternate interests.
